These are the questions we get asked most, in the order people usually ask them.
How far is the beach? A block and a half from Seashell Palace 2, a two to three minute walk to public beach access. Seashell Palace 2 has a beach cart, chairs, umbrellas, and snorkel gear included, so you can carry everything down in one trip.
Is the pool heated? At Seashell Palace 2, the heated saltwater pool is included at no extra cost. At Seashell Palace, pool heat needs to be requested in advance and carries a daily charge, with 87 degrees the warmest setting available. The hot tub at both homes runs hot year round at no charge, regardless of season.
Are pets allowed? Yes, up to two dogs. Both homes have fully fenced yards, and we provide pet bowls and waste bags. There’s a $150 fee per pet. We can’t accept cats or other animals.
What’s the deposit situation? Year round, there’s a refundable $350 hold placed on your card through our property management system. During spring break, March 5 to April 20, that rises to a refundable $500 deposit. If no damage is found, the hold is released and funds return within three days of checkout.
What’s the cancellation policy? Cancel more than 30 days before arrival for a full refund, less a $100 cancellation fee. Cancel more than 15 days before arrival and 50 percent is refunded, less the same fee. Inside 15 days, no refund.
How does check-in work? Everything is smart lock, so there’s no key handover and no waiting around. There are three exterior cameras — front door and driveway, backyard gate, and pool equipment — with no common area ever under surveillance.
Can we book both houses together? Yes. Booked together, the two homes become Seashell Kingdom, sleeping up to 22 with two pools, two hot tubs, two game rooms, two mini golf courses, and two full kitchens. Call us at 850-252-0626 and we’ll set it up.
